PRANCING PAWS ANIMAL RESCUE is a registered 501(c)(3) not for profit, no kill, cat and kitten rescue dedicated to ending the cat overpopulation crisis that plagues the South Philadelphia area. We are attempting to accomplish this goal humanely by practicing Trap-Neuter-Release on the feral cats of South Philadelphia. In order to operate our rescue we depend solely on donations from the public, which are tax deductible.

Prancing Paws is made up of a group of individuals who see an immediate need to rescue stray cats and feral kittens off the streets of South Philadelphia. We volunteer our time to rescue, foster, and adopt out each healthy cat and kitten currently in our rescue. Each cat and kitten is fully vetted before it leaves the rescue. All interested adopters are required to fill out an application. All adoptions are finalized by a contract. We have no main shelter location, and run our rescue out of private foster homes. We are a registered 501(c)(3) not for profit no kill cat and kitten rescue. We operate solely on donations, which are tax-deductible.  

All cats and kittens are examined by a vet, spayed/neutered, FIV/FeLV tested, vaccinated, and treated for fleas and worms prior to adoption. The adoption donation for a kitten is $100, the adoption donation for an adult cat is $100. There is a discount for adopting a pair of kittens or adult cats. All interested persons must fill out an adoption application. You can view the application here. We have the right to decline an application at anytime for any reason. All paperwork is provided at the time of adoption, all adopters are asked to sign a contract to finalize the adoption.
